  This is a tapestry made of concrete with different color tiles. It's very small but it has little posts all around it that talk about different issues. In addition it's called Higgs Beach and you can read about the slave ships that were intercepted by the Navy and how slaves were rescued when they were then given their freedom... and clothes, shelter and able to live. Over a thousand were saved 274 were lost. One of the most beautiful spots ever right next to the AIDS Memorial.
