  While on vacation in key west I developed ear infection in my left ear. Upon arrival I was checked out by a PA that decided to write me amoxcillian 325mg 3 x day for 7 days for an ear infection. Well I tried to tell her that rx would not help because it's a pediatric dose. Not to mention that I'm a type one diabetic and any infection send my blood sugar through the roof. I also happen to be a RN for over 10 years. Anyway I walked away and finally got a hold of my Dr back home. She was in shock that the PA wrote a type one diabetic a ped dose if amoxcilian. Now I'm warning you all do not go there they write the wrong medication and the wrong dose for your diagnosis. Medical malpractice, and total incompetent...they better be careful before they end up hurting somone.
